Well, I made it! :o)
After 196 miles of cycling, 1 puncture and a few numb fingers, I completed my challenge from London to Paris in 3 days.
The experience was amazing. The first and last day were very long and tough, starting off very early, with lots of hills encountered on the first day and a very strong head wind on the last day. The second day was more relaxing with a shorter distance and an undulating ride. The scenery was beautiful, from small pretty villages and country lanes to vast fields and open roads, weather was 90% good to us and met some great people. The feeling of achievement when we came into Paris and cycled up to the Eiffel Tower was overwhelming and made it all worthwhile.
