<p>Thanks for taking the time to visit our JustGiving page.</p> <p>Andrew and Miriam Wingfield recently came and spoke to us&nbsp;about the work they are doing through Emmanuel International and the Anglican church in Tanzania.&nbsp; We've been inspired to do something to raise money towards the Water, Sanitation and Hygiene (WaSH) project which they're involved with.&nbsp;</p> <p>The project will enable local people, under skilled supervision, to construct and maintain 20 000 litre rainwater collection&nbsp;tanks adjacent to classrooms in several schools in rural Tanzania and to rehabilitate or construct latrines.</p> <p>The target schools don't currently have adequate water supplies or sanitation, children often miss lessons to fetch water from a number of kilometers away and it's difficult to keep the schools clean. Simple but effective technology used can to help solve these problems (see pictures, from schools where project has already been run).</p> <p>We&nbsp;are going to spend the 4th of February as if a young person in Africa - dressing, cooking and eating as you might&nbsp;in a country thousands of miles away from where we live</p> <p>We'd be really grateful if you could sponsor us!</p> <p>Donating through JustGiving is simple, fast and totally secure.
