Story

As many of you know my boyfriend Si died very suddenly in July last year of a sudden attack of cardiac arrhythmia, one of the many causes of sudden adult death syndrome. Needless to say, these past few months have been incredibly hard as we have all tried to understand how someone so young, fit and healthy can be taken away just like that.

As a result my sister, Rachel and I have decided (somewhat unwisely!) to run all 26.2 miles of the Flora London Marathon 2009. We intend to raise at least £3000 for the tremendous work of Cardiac Risk in the Young, a charity dedicated to raising awareness of SADS and campaigning for the proactive screening of young people such as Si.

So, please support us by donating as much or as little as you like, all donations will be gratefully received (as well as any fancy dress suggestions...) Remember, if you're a UK taxpayer, Justgiving will add an extra 25% in Gift Aid, plus a 3% supplement, to your donation.

Thanks so much for all your support. We hope to see you on the finishing line on April 26th!

Jen and Rach xx
