In August 2006 Charlotte, then 13, was diagnosed with acute lymphoblastic leukaemia (ALL).  Two years on she is still undergoing treatment.  Despite losing all her hair and enduring a lot pain with the treatment she has refused to take time off from school and continues with her sport - she is truly an inspiration to all.

Leukaemia affects the whole family and her sister; Harriet has also shown great courage and strength.
