Update - Firstly a massive thank you to everybody that has sponsored me. Secondly, I finished in 3hrs 40mins, which I am well pleased about.

Leicestershire Animal Aid is a small animal shelter based in Huncote. I have raised money for them in various ways over the years. It is a local charity close to my heart and is where both Jack the Greyhound and Tia the dizzy blonde Retriever are from.

I am a little late in setting up this page, as originally I hadn't wanted to tempt fate of being injured and not able to race. However with the marathon now being this month... and to be honest as the training has become harder, having the knowledge that my pain equals money for the dogs at Huncote will spur me on.

My target is to break the magical 4 hours, my only previous attempt was in London three years ago and I missed it by 5 minutes (still Ady missed it by 6 minutes a year later so I still have the bragging rights...)
