My Dad was diagnosed on 4 May 2009 with bile duct cancer, mid May he had the first of two stages of surgery. He went back to theatre on 19th June 2009. Sadly, the cancer had spread and he died surrounded with love  by my Mum, brother and myself very peacefully on 28th June 2009.

We love and miss you dreadfully Dad and hope that through raising awareness of this very rare cancer we can help other families. The incidence of bile duct cancer or cholangiocarcinoma is 1:100,000 and unfortunately by the time symptoms present it is often  too late and the cancer has got a hold. RIP Dad xxx
