Story

Hello!

Thanks for visiting my site. I really appreciate all your donations and support. Thank you.

 I'm There! W - Hey!! FAN-TAS-TIC !!! 100% !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Please keep donating it would be great to reach £4000...........

It is easy to do on line

and

Justgiving is a secure site and easy to use. You can add gift aid on as well which means VSO will get more money. It doesn't go towards my total but i highly reccomend you do it if you can.

The total to be raised includes the costs of the challenge. I have saved all the money to cover the costs of the challenge (£1575) so 100% of money donated or raised is going to VSO ! Yey!

I decided to do something different this year and be a little adventurous at the same time :o) So... I am doing the VSO Indian Himalayas Challenge in August and i need to raise £3850.

The Challenge is 10 days in India 5 of which i will be trekking in the Ladakh range in the himalayas. I will be trekking from Leh for about 5-6 hours a day, nearly 12 hours on day 2 ! I will reach an altitude of 4000m. I have been making an effort to increase my fittness this year with the support of caring relatives who've allowed me to go (drag and be dragged) for walks with them. I also have a yoga programme that i do on alternative days to build my strengh up. I walk to work and so I have been finding longer routes in.

I have never raised money for charity in this way before so it is one of my biggest challenges to date! So far I am loving it!

I hosted an Auction of Promises on 12th April 2008 and it was fantastic. After two months of planning all the hard work paid off. The Auction included a tombola, raffle, sealed bidding and main auction and I raised £1037.10!!!! Thank you to all who made the auction possible :o) xxx

Thanks for your support :o)

Its not long now (10th August) and i'll be conquering those Himalayan passes!
