My story

 

On Sunday 11 October 2009, I, along with a group of other crazy thrill seekers, will be taking part in a tandem skydive to celebrate 40 years of the Riding for the Disabled Association.  The overall aim for the team taking part in the jump is to raise awareness of RDA and to raise a total of £10,000.

I have been lucky to benefit first hand from the work of the RDA which is celebrating 40 years of delivering opportunities for therapy, achievement and enjoyment to people with disabilities.  RDA now has 500 member groups across the UK helping 23,000 people taking part in riding, carriage driving and vaulting activities.

Donating through Justgiving is quick, easy and totally secure. It’s also the most efficient way to sponsor me: Riding for the Disabled Association gets your money faster and, if you’re a UK taxpayer, Justgiving makes sure 25% in Gift Aid, plus a 3% supplement, are added to your donation.
