Fate decided that this year I am taking on one of the biggest challenges of my life. 26.2 miles around London on April 21st. The day itself will be hard but I think I am more scared of the miles in the legs before that!

I am running for a charity called Family Action. Maybe you have heard of them, maybe not but they have been around for a really long time (circa 1869). They tackle some of the most complex and difficult issues facing families today – including domestic abuse, mental health problems, learning disabilities and severe financial hardship. Among other things they also provide support to young carers.
