I am attempting to complete the British 10k London  Run in July  2009 for a wonderful charity, the Brigitte Trust.

I am a volunteer with the Brigitte Trust, a small, local charity based in Dorking, that supports people and families who are facing life-threatening illnesses.  Until I joined the Trust over 2 years ago, I was ignorant to the enormous challenges both physical and mental that families dealing with illnesses such as cancer and motor neurone disease are faced with. The Brigitte Trust offers support, both emotional and practical to these families and it really does help.

I have a very dear friend, Nigel, a truly wonderful person.  He has recently been diagnosed with oesophageal cancer and for him I am going to complete this run.
