In a vain attempt to get fit what better way to motivate me than to raise money for a local charity which has helped my mum the last couple of years whilst dealing with breast cancer.

Cherry Lodge offers support and a better quality of living to people living with cancer, their carers and families. Not only do they offer counselling, emotional and psychological support and drop-in sessions but also complimentary therapies including acupuncture, aromatherapy, massage, reflexology, manicures and LOADS more...  All their services are provided free and are available to not only people living with cancer but their carers and families too.

 If you can sponsor even a little bit of money that would be really cool!  If you also fancy a morning out in Hyde Park on Sunday 6 September, please feel free to come on down and laugh, I mean cheer me on.  Having said that I’ll probably be going so fast that if you blink you’ll miss me - or something like that...
