The Prince's Trust is a well-established UK-based charity that helps young people out of difficult situations and into work. They have a 75% SUCCESS RATE with these 14-30 year olds which I think is pretty amazing. My friend Sally works for the Prince's Trust and told me about this trek which focusses on helping women specifically - a cause I feel strongly about. This is a great opportunity to raise lots of money for a worthy cause - for young people who haven't had the support and help they need.
GlobalCampus www.globalcampus.com, my employer, has kindly contributed a significant amount towards my trip and you can follow my progress on my blog. (You can also get involved in the project and write a review about your uni!).
The Women’s Leadership Group
The Prince’s Trust Women’s Leadership Group (WLG) is an innovative fundraising initiative with a dedicated committee of leading, influential women committed to raising funds to help young women get their lives back on track. Since launching in 2007, the WLG has rapidly grown to 34 members who have collectively pledged £2.4 million to support this vital work.
