I have already ran Blaydon Race on 9th June. I'm running 10k Race for Life on 12th July and GNR on 13th September, each for Cancer Research.  Please note, I am not an athlete, I am complete foodie and partial to a few vinos - I run to only eat and not to compete! 

But this year is different.  I am trying harder and pushing myself out of my comfort zone, because like others reading this, we all know people affected by cancer and its heart breaking to watch loved ones suffer.  This year I signed up for 3 runs to raise money and help Cancer Research find therapy's and hopefully a cure to eradicate cancer.  My beautiful friend (Julie), and wonderful mother in-law have been affected and are fighting like true warriors, I will be running hoping and praying that contributions raised by the thousands of other fund raisers will make a difference for them and for all the others battling.
