Muona is one of the remotest and poorest districts in Malawi. The children here have so little. They wear rags and have limited access to education. Despite this they are some of the happiest children I have ever met. On a Sunday afternoon I run a 'kids club', the children come to my house and we watch cartoons, colour and play games. However, this is only one afternoon, the village itself has no facilities and the children just roam around entertaining themselves as only children know how!

I would like to provide a playground for them, somewhere that would keep them entertained and stretch their imaginations and somewhere that is readily accessible. The equipment would be supplied by a community based project in Blantrye, Malawi and maintained by the villagers themselves.
