This year I will be setting off on a six week walk around the South West peninsula.
Now that I have retired I have the time to do the 630 mile walk; which I plan to complete in three two week stints.
My son and daughter-in-law live in Devon and I am keen to get to know the area bettter. I am also looking forward to family and friends joining me along the way, to do some of the walk with me.
I plan to set off on the first leg from Minehead in April and will be finishing in Poole in October.
I have been a supporter of Action for Blind People for several years. My mother's blindness, due macular degeneration, inspired me to get involved with the charity and this is an oportunity to raise funds for this excellent cause.
Action for Blind People is one of the largest charities in the UK providing confidential support for blind and partially sighted people in all aspects of their lives.
Their mission is to inspire change and create opportunities to enable people with sight loss to have equal voice and equal choice.
Donating through JustGiving is simple, fast and totally secure. Your details are safe with JustGiving – they’ll never sell them on or send unwanted emails. Once you donate, they’ll send your money directly to the charity and make sure Gift Aid is reclaimed on every eligible donation by a UK taxpayer. So it’s the most efficient way to donate - I raise more, whilst saving time and cutting costs for the charity.
Many thanks
