My story
We would like to thank the following for their generous offline donations:

Do we really know what we're let ourselves in for!?
A team of 11 from LR (Natasha Ordish, Dave Barrow, Tom Dalling, Mark Darley, Rich Beckett, Rich Battley, Richard Cooper, Rhys Lewis, Will Millard, Amy Adams and Laura Satterly) have committed to either a 75 or 35 mile bike ride around the New forest. In principle this sounds ok - only when we started training did we realise the challenge that lies ahead!
However we have all now commmited to this wonderful fundraising event for The Mission to Seafarers so please dig deep and help us achieve our goal.
The event will take place on Sunday 27 May 2012.
The Mission are a fantastic organization to support. Piracy, shipwreck, abandonment and separation from loved ones are just a few of the problems merchant seafarers face. Around the world, The Mission to Seafarers provides help and support to the 1.2 million men and women who face danger every day to keep our global economy afloat. The Mission is funded by voluntary donations, so your support will make a difference.

Founded in 1856 and funded entirely by voluntary donations, the Mission to Seafarers offers emergency assistance and support to crews around the world. Whether victims of piracy or those shipwrecked or stranded, we’re there for the globe’s merchant seafarers of all ranks, nationalities and belief.
