My friend Jo passed away aged 50 in January '09 after a long battle with cancer.  His courage and personal faith in the face of adversity were an inspiration to me. Jo's gentleness, generosity and sense of humour marked his life.  In 2006 the last time I ran the London marathon he was there to cheer me on. "Come on Pablo! Wow! You can do it."
