I'm running the London Marathon in April 2023 for Prostate Cancer UK. 

In April 2022, my grandad passed away, with Prostate cancer being a huge factor in his death. Prostate cancer kills 1 in 8 men. That's one dad, partner, brother, son, grandad, uncle or mate. For me it was not only my grandad, but one of my best mates. The aftermath of Mick's death has been much tougher than we could ever imagine, as it left my Grandmother weak, lonely and broken hearted. She is now in a care home under a rehabilitation plan and making gradual process, which is a blessing. However, I have no doubt that the cancer that caused Mick's death is indirectly contributing to her condition.

I'm raising money to help fund lifesaving research and support for men and their families affected by prostate cancer. Our story will be one of thousands and I know a lot of people will relate to cancer ripping their family apart.

London Marathon has always been on my bucket list, so to do if for such a worthwhile and close to the heart cause, is something that I will remember for the rest of my life. I know times are tough out there and it is probably the worst time to be asking people to donate any amount, but I want to try and raise as much as I can. So every £1 really does count and I know me and my family would really appreciate any amount you could give.
