Story

***NEWSFLASH,NEWSFLASH,NEWSFLASH*** -  We have a man down, me benny picks has been instructed to do weeks bedrest because my skin has broken down due to to much trainnining, the diappointement and frustration is coursing through my veins as i have spoken to team, dibby & clive and we decided we get my recovery out way, and winter out way and do it in spring, so nothing has changed folks, we still gonna do it and honour your kind donations for the cause, but unfortunately its not going to be until april. If anyone is a little unsure of this please e mail me dibby or clive, and we can put your minds at rest that your money going to the cause, and we stillgoing to cycle to paris but not until april !!! So, you've come this far, and are reading about this interesting 'little' challenge, dont you dare leave this page without a cheeky little donation ; ) !!!

Here's the deal, Mid september myself, simon 'Dibby' gardner, and clive williams are going to depart from london and cycle our way to Paris. There are various routes to take on this cycling trip and our exact itinerary is yet to be confirmed but we will be heading south from london to newhaven to catch the ferry  (or if anyone chucks a nice round £1 million in, ill swim that as well)touch down in dieppe and working our way  to paris ! All going well its going to be 4 long days of cycling aiming to cover around 370 klms - yikes !!! This is the point where i should over romanticize about cycling through the french countryside- basically its gonna hurt ! ; ) My form of transport is quite interesting, its a 3 wheeled handbike i pedal with my hands, for those of you that dont know me im a wheelchair user and am paralysed from the chest down, so ive got 4 months to get thease arms and shoulders in the best shape of there life,  a summer of healthy living and discipline could be a challenge in itself . Dibby and clive are young athletic men in there prime, im sure they will be bang on with the required fitness ; )

Here's the bit that matters, the whole point of this little adventure is just to catch your awareness and hopefully your goodwill, i would like you to sponsor us so we can raise as much cash as we can for EACH , its an unbelievably good cause that relies on public support for the majority of its required income of around £5.8 million ! EACH cares for local children with life threatening conditions and complex healthcare needs, and supports their family. EACH delivers a diverse range of childrens hospice care services in family homes throughout east anglia and North essex, or in one of three hospices. All three hospice buildings provide home from home enviroments.

If you get chance, check them out    www.each.org.uk

If any of you cant spare any pennies but may have some fundraising ideas i could use, please e mail me : -         london-paris2010@hotmail.com

Every penny counts,(£6000 is the target i have put in the target box, i dont see why we cant smash that) thankyou so much if you are able to make a donation...........
