Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit our JustGiving page.

Robert Macleod, Darran Tremlett, Mark Shingler, Martyn Smith and Paul Roberts are cycling from London to Paris for charity.

The event starts in London on Friday 27th August and the aim is to cycle all the way to Paris finishing at the Eiffel Tower on Sunday 29th August.

We wanted to raise a significant sum in support of the Halton Haven Hospice.  Our aim was to raise cash for a local charity and one that really meant something to all of us.  Halton Haven was ideal as a) It was a local charity and b) The hospice has in some shape or form had an impact on our lives.

We are conscious that this is not going to be an easy challenge and the thought of sitting on the saddle for 286kms is bringing tears to our eyes now, apparently the advice is plenty of Vaseline.

Donating through JustGiving is simple, fast and totally secure. Your details are safe with JustGiving – they’ll never sell them on or send unwanted emails. Once you donate, they’ll send your money directly to the charity and make sure Gift Aid is reclaimed on every eligible donation by a UK taxpayer. So it’s the most efficient way to donate - we raise more, whilst saving time and cutting costs for the charity.

If you have any other fundraising ideas then please get in touch, we all realise we have a massive target to achieve, so in the meantime please dig deep.

Please check back from time to time for updates on fund raising events, training, photos, videos and most importantly our fundraising figure.

Many Thanks,
