Alzheimer's disease is the most common cause of dementia. There are 800.000 people with dementia in the UK with numbers set to rise to over 1 million by 2021. This will soar to 1.7 million by 2050.

The term "dementia" describes a set of symptoms which can include loss of memory, mood changes, and problems with communication and reasoning. These symptoms occur when the brain damaged by certain disease and conditions, including Alzheimer's disease.

The project "London on my mind" is a photo-book that features the work of twenty-four PwC employees who have volunteered to share their photos taken in London. They left a mark to their memories and showed us this amazing city through their eyes!

I hope this book will help to increase people's awareness of Alzheimer's disease and raise money for the Alzheimer's Society. I would like to thank all contributors and readers of this book for their support.
