So - WE DID IT!!!!

262 miles in 23 HOURS and 20 MINUTES - 40 MINUTES TO SPARE!

We cycled as a team from Marble Arch in London to The Arc d'Triomphe in Paris. Most fundraisers do this ride in 3 DAYS.  We decided that we needed more of a challenge!  

We didn't just do this for fun, though we really enjoyed the ride and got a lot of satisfaction from the acheivement.  I am raising money to help those suffering with Cancer.  Over the past few months one of my daughter's school friends, only 11, lost her mum, Jayne, and my wife lost one of her old school friends, Melanie, at the age of 39.

We all know people who have suffered or are still suffering from cancer.  It is indiscriminate.  MacMillan Cancer Support (http://www.macmillan.org.uk) provide much needed assistance not just to those suffering but to the friends and families of those affected.
