London to Istanbul - Calvin, Mike, Tom and Tom

London to Istanbul Cycle for C.A.L.M · 16 June 2012
We (Tom, Mike, Calvin and Tom) are four friends who are setting out to cycle from London to Istanbul in August 2012.
The journey will take us 7 weeks travelling an average of 60 miles a day on the bikes across the continent, through 11 countries.
At first merely a plan to find Europe's best tasting Kebab, the idea came to Tom B. and Mike whilst looking longingly at a map of Europe.
"Shall we just do it" said Tom. "I've got nothing else on", said Mike.
We are cycling across the continent first and foremost as an awesome challenge and a "life changer", but also for an extraordinary charity that does so much to help young men in turmoil, when they might not know where to turn.
Calvin and Tom joined us this year when they saw how buff our thighs were getting from all the training. They, like us, saw this as a phenomenal opportunity to see the nooks and crannies of the continent using pedal power.
