Hi All,
Tony McColley is a London Ambulance Service Paramedic and is kayaking from londontomanchester to raise funds for London's Air Ambulance.
London’s Air Ambulance is the charity that runs London’s Helicopter Emergency Medical Service. The service provides pre-hospital medical care to victims of serious injury, at the scene of the incident, throughout London - serving the 10 million people who live, work and commute there. London’s Air Ambulance is a registered charity and relies heavily on public donations. Every penny counts!
That's 240 plus miles, with 190 locks and several tunnels that the kayak must be carried around. A Solo paddle with minimal support and no back-up crew.
This paddle is to celebrate the fantastic work our air ambulance does for all Londoners PLEASE GIVE AS MUCH AS YOU CAN.
