This is amazing charity is taking a careful and effective approach to helping the poor in rural Mongolia by focusing on rural economies and providing invaluable support to thousands across the country.

They assists the development of herder cooperatives, supports businesses that add value to herder products, improves rural business access to financial services and markets and enhances the quality and accessibility of local business development and support services. In partnership with Pact, the program also increases the availability, access to and use of business information by Gobi entrepreneurs.

They also work with rural agribusinesses providing training and technical assistance, improves the accessibility of financial resources, develops and institutionalises monitoring systems for dairy food safety and animal nutrition and provides technical and material support to veterinarians.

Over the past five years Mercy Corps has established a strong reputation across the vast Gobi region, and continues to work with business associations and local organizations to ensure a robust economy that preserves ancient traditions.

Mercy Corps Mongolia supports rural communities to mobilise resources to meet their economic and social needs, and so, to provide a better quality of life for rural residents. Over the past five years, Mercy Corps has established a strong organizational structure and reputation in six aimags of the Gobi region, and is currently expanding operations into an additional five aimags.

All our donations will go exclusively to their Mongolian projects.
