Story

Chris, Nat and Nick have decided to compete in the London Triathlon 2011 for Momentum - a fantastic charity for children with cancer, and their families in the United Kingdom. It was established by parents who have directly been effected by cancer, with the simple goal of assisting others in these terrible situations. Feel free to click on the link down on the left for more information.

We decided to do it in a team in the Olympic (you heard me) Team Relay distance, as we believe this will raise much more money rather than it would for us to do it individually. Well that's our excuse anyway.

Nathaniel Hutley will be competing in the 1500m swim leg. He initially agreed upon the premise he wouldn't have to swim in the Thames, and that he could wear a Speedo thong. So he has been kind enough to agree to stay on board even though it is the Thames and a wetsuit is mandatory. We wish him luck with all his training in the bath tub.

Chris Peters will be riding 40km on his yet to be purchased bike, but as he has let everyone know, with such 'Olympian legs' this should be a walk in the park. He is currently searching ebay for a Batman cape to wear on the day.

Nick Hargreaves will be the last leg of the relay, or 'the anchor leg', a 10km run with the intent of getting to the finishing line as quickly as possible so that he can have a laugh at Nat who will undoubtedly be quite pissed at that stage.

Our team name is 'Two and a Half Men'. Contrary to popular belief Nick is not the 'half', but it is indeed Nat, as he believes he is half man / half fish.

So please give generously to this page, it is a fantastic cause and we hope to raise upwards of £2,000 before the fateful first weekend of August. It doesn't have to be a big amount, every single pound donated will be of great assistance, and goes straight to the charity, not to beers.

Thanks and wish us luck!
