NEWS FLASH: Team Coutts have successfully completed the London to Paris bike race without disgracing themselves and having endured 330 miles through thunderstorms, flash flooding, peloton pile-ups and the threat of being 'picked up in the van'.

Many thanks for your generosity and support.

"Would you be interested in a gentle saunter down to Paris"?
'of course!' we said, and signed up immediately.
Well, it turns out that we have 'signed up' to a gruelling 110 miles a day, for 3 days at a tough pace with the UK's cycling elite!
On the 25th June, 5 intrepid bankers from Coutts will be attempting to cycle 530km (330 miles) from London to Paris in only 3 days as part of the famous London to Paris cycle challenge.
We are doing this to raise as much money as possible for a wonderful charity called DebRA, http://www.debra.org.uk/. DebRA provides specialist nursing, funds extensive medical research and provides counselling, welfare, respite and advocacy for EB. EB (Epidermolysis Bullosa) is a very rare genetic condition in which the skin and internal bodylinings blister at the slightest knock or rub. This can mean a life of extreme pain, disability and at its worst EB is fatal in infancy. People with severe EB are ultimately likely to contract a fatal skin cancer.
The intrepid 5 are Martin Thurnham, Adrian Jones and Harry Rogers from the Sports & Entertainment client group, Paul Johnson from Sales Management, and Rob Jacob from the Family Business Office.

Donating through Justgiving is quick, easy and totally secure. It’s also the most efficient way to sponsor us: DebRA gets your money faster and, if you’re a UK taxpayer, Justgiving makes sure 25% in Gift Aid, plus a 3% supplement, are added to your donation.
We are aiming to raise £10,000. If you can spare a few Pounds to help us get anywhere near this level that would be amazing.
Thank you very much in advance,
Martin, Adrian, Harry, Rob and Paul.
