Our daughter Millie was diagnosed with PKU at only a few weeks old, during a routine blood test. We quickly learnt about the condition thanks to all the amazing staff at the Willink Unit, whose support has been continual ever since. At home we take Millie's blood once a week to check her levels are stable and Millie attends the Willink Unit every three months for a developmental check which includes a general health check, measuring and weighing plus dietary advice and support regarding introducing new foods to Millie's diet. We are truly grateful for all the help and support we receive and want to give something back. That is why we want to raise money and awareness for GEM Appeal, so they can help many more children in the future. Thanks for visiting my fundraising page.
