Story

Thank you for visiting our fundraising page. Please dig deep and sponsor us online.

On the 21st June 2007 (The Longest Day!) three men will launch their sea kayaks from Sennen Cove just past Lands End.  Their destination is St Margarets Bay near Dover.

This 450 mile self sufficient Kayak expedition will test their strength, mental and physical endurance and more importantly raise money for The Fire Services National Benevolent Fund as well as promoting sea & fire safety along the way.

They will carry all of their food, camping & survival gear which will give their boats a fully laden weight of 100kg

Firefighters Shaun Cullen & Mark Foulds and Carpenter Brett Meredith are already in training and would appreciate your sponsorship & support.

Donating through this site is simple, fast and totally secure. It is also the most efficient way to sponsor us: Fire Services National Benevolent Fund will receive your money faster and, if you are a UK taxpayer, an extra 28% in tax will be added to your gift at no cost to you.

So please sponsor us now!

Many thanks for your support.
