The Long Run Down - Belfast to Dublin · 26 May 2008

At Northern Ireland Hospice, we care for more than 4,000 babies, children and adults with life-limiting illnesses, both in Hospice and in the community. We look after every patient's nursing, medical, social, spiritual and emotional needs with support for their family continuing into bereavement.

Story

Thanks for visiting our fundraising page.

The LongRunDown is a small team of Atheletes who will run all the way from Belfast to Dublin - then run the Dublin Maraton as a warm down!!!

On the route down the runners will go through Lisburn, Portadown, Banbridge, Newry, Drogheda then Dublin, making the whole trip around 160 miles!!!!

There will also be "Mini" runs (hopefully!!) in Portadown, Newry and Drogheda where the public can take part and raise even more money!!!

If you are interested in taking part please go to http://www.thelongrundown.org and register. You will also be able to keep track of the atheletes training progress with regular blog entries and more!

The run actually supports three different charities - The Northern Ireland Childrens Hospice, Laura Lynn Chlidrens Hospice and the Samaritans.
