Anyone can get Parkinson’s. It gets worse over time and there’s no cure. Yet. Funding research into the most promising treatments, we’re getting closer to a cure. Until then, we're improving life for people with Parkinson’s, and the people in their lives. Together we'll find a cure.

Story

Thank you for visiting my fundraising page. It would be fantastic if you would sponsor me on-line.

I cycled Lon Las Cymru (Holyhead to Chepstow-Cardiff) from 10-17 September 2007 (270 miles).  This is one of the most difficult of the coast2coast cycle routes and I made the journey doubly difficult by doing it on my Brompton folding bicycle!  My mother was diagnosed with Parkinson's in 1990 and I now have two work colleagues recently diagnosed and I wanted to raise funds for the PDS , and to combine this with a personal challenge.

It was a FANTASTIC experience - recommend it to anyone - with a little practice beforehand ofcourse !

Donating through this site is simple, fast and totally secure. It is also the most efficient way to sponsor me: Parkinson's Disease Society will receive your money faster and, if you are a UK taxpayer, an extra 28% in tax will be added to your gift at no cost to you.

So please sponsor me now!

Many thanks for your support.
