UPDATE
Day one of Loot was an amazing success with just under £29K raised by our volunteers you can check out their progress on our website
Every year Meningitis Research Foundation runs an event called London Loot on the Wednesday and Thursday before the Easter weekend.
Over 100 student volunteers from universities across the UK decend on the capital for two days of collecting in London's tube and railway stations + the streets of the square mile. Since the event started over £300,000 has been raised, enough to make a real difference to the research into new prevention, detection and treatment of meningitis that we fund.
This year we're hoping to make Loot 2010 the biggest and best yet but we need your help. If you see one of our collectors on Wednesday 31st March or Thursday 1st April please give generously. If you're not in London or like the Queen carry no cash (or if you are the Queen and would like to donate) you can still help us by making your donation here today on Justgiving.
Donating through JustGiving is simple, fast and totally secure. Your details are safe with JustGiving – they’ll never sell them on or send you unwanted emails. Once you donate, they’ll send your money directly to us and make sure Gift Aid is reclaimed on every eligible donation by a UK taxpayer. So please dig deep and donate now.
We'll be updating this page as well as our blog throughout the event so please check back to see how we're doing. Your donation can make a real difference to people whose lives have been affected by meningitis & septicaemia.
