Coronavirus Emergency Appeal

Human Appeal has launched an emergency appeal to fight the spread of coronavirus COVID-19 here in the UK and in some of the most vulnerable communities around the world.
£15 – emergency food parcel for vulnerable people in the UK
Give just £15, and provide an urgently-needed food parcel to vulnerable and elderly people in the UK. Each parcel will include long-life and easy-to prepare foods, such as pasta, porridge, soup, biscuits, cereal, tea, and baked beans, as well as essentials, such as flour, sugar, powdered milk, jam and juice.
Each hygiene kit will contain alcohol-based hand sanitizer, soap, surgical face masks, disposable gloves, wet wipes, disinfectant, detergent, toilet paper, and sponges. It will also include an easy-to-understand guide to reducing the risk of catching and spreading the virus.

Right now, we’re working to provide essential coronavirus kits in the most vulnerable communities across nine countries. We’re preparing to distribute your donations – COVID-19 hygiene kits in displacement camps – and we’re providing hot meals to essential workers in Pakistan.
Here in the UK, we’ve already begun supporting people affected by COVD-19, working with local businesses, food banks, and mosques, and with Age UK.
In Manchester, we delivered a total of 500 hot meals to hospitals and 100 meals to homeless people. We’ve provided 60 meals, and 120 parcels of eggs, milk, and fresh fruit and vegetables to Age UK, and we’re supporting Didsbury Mosque with logistics and the distribution of food and essential items to vulnerable people in the Manchester community.
In Leicester and Birmingham, we’re working to supply and deliver essential items to Age UK, such as long-life food and easy-to-make meals, gloves and cleaning products. We also delivered in-demand items, such as soups, biscuits and toiletries, to a Leicester food bank.
In Glasgow, we’re working with Awaz FM and Castle Milk senior centre to deliver tinned food, pasta and toiletries to elderly people isolated in their homes.
Across the UK, we’re in touch with homelessness charities to offer our help, and we’ve also offered our support to hospitals and NHS staff across the North of England and London.
