Story

Thanks for visiting my fundraising page.

Having completed the London Marathon in April 2008 for Headway, I was on the look out for a new challenge!

I discovered that the Child Brain Injury Trust (CBIT) were looking for people to run the British 10k in London on 6 July 2008.  I have run this race before and know that it is a flat course with thousands of competitors and also great fun (and after running 26.2 miles in one go, 6 miles (roughly 10k) didn't seem too bad), so I volunteered to take part and to raise sponsorship for CBIT, knowing the good works that it does for children living with acquired brain injury.  For more information please visit the CBIT website at: www.cbituk.org

Donating through Justgiving is quick, easy and totally secure. It’s also the most efficient way to sponsor me: Child Brain Injury Trust gets your money faster and, if you’re a UK taxpayer, Justgiving makes sure 25% in Gift Aid, plus a 3% supplement, are added to your donation.

So please sponsor me now!
