Great North Run 2008 · 5 October 2008 ·

The Multiple System Atrophy Trust is the UK and Ireland's only charity dedicated to providing specialist support to all those affected by multiple system atrophy (MSA); a life-limiting neurodegenerative condition. We rely entirely on voluntary donations to provide our free support services.

Story

Thank you for taking the time to look at my page. I wouldn't normally ask for sponsorship, but a close friend's father is very ill with Multiple System Atrophy (MSA), and I thought I could do my bit to help in some way to raise money for those that support the sufferers and the families of those that suffer from this terrible degenerative neurological disorder.

For further information on MSA click on the Sarah Matheson Trust website.

Please dig deep and sponsor me online.... I need the encouragement to run 13 (.1 (it's the .1 that's the killer)) miles! If I am to leave the safety of my lovely home city and run through South Tyneside, I think it's only fair that I ask for danger money.

Donating through this site is simple, fast and totally secure. It is also the most efficient way to sponsor me: Sarah Matheson Trust for Multiple System Atrophy will receive your money faster and, if you are a UK taxpayer, an extra 28% in tax will be added to your gift at no cost to you.

So please sponsor me now!

Many thanks for your support.
