Moonlight Colourthon 2008 · 9 June 2008

Fair Havens Hospice provides respite breaks, symptom control and end-of-life care for adults living with serious conditions and illnesses such as cancer. It aims to make their journey - and that of their family - as comfortable as possible, creating special memories along the way.

Story

We would like to thank you for helping us to raise money for our local Fairhavens Hospice, which is a charity close to our hearts.

I am pleased to say that Emma and I completed 13.1 miles in just over 3 hours, although not without getting massive blisters on our feet.

We are now looking forward to doing the Moonlight Colourthon Walk next year, but I think we will have to find more comfortable footware!

There will be a memorial service held for dad (Thomas Robinson) at Southend Crematorium on Saturday 30th August 2008 at 2.30pm (all welcome).  His ashes will be buried in the woodland under a rose bush right next to the lake which is full of fish and I am sure it would be a place where he would have been happy.

Once again we would like to thank you all, it really means a great deal that you have supported us.

Loving wishes to all Lorna, Emma, Helen, Lisa and family xxxx
