Across the UK bright children and young adults are not meeting their full potential as they struggle to read and spell. Through special clinics, we investigate the causes of a range of learning difficulties including dyslexia and develop effective treatments to help alleviate reading problems.

Story

I'm having the snip for charity, no not that kind but snipping the beloved pony tail off! After 10 years of its existence its time for it to be chopped

Why the Snip?
Well its about time really after all its hard to be rebelling when you can't quite remember who you were rebelling from. Its been many years since I had to have short hair and over that time while the hair has been cut its never been cut so short as to not be in a tail. But the real reason is that it gives me a chance to give to a charity to whos' work is in my mind just as important as any to be trapped with ideas and not to be able to express them in words or on paper is one of the most frustrating part of my life through the Dyslexia Research trust there are now scientific studies which can help people with Dyslexia to get chances I was so fortunate to have given to me and hopefully improve the current support services for children and adults with dyslexia.

Donating through Justgiving is quick, easy and totally secure. It's also the most efficient way to sponsor me: The Dyslexia Research Trust gets your money faster and, if you're a UK taxpayer, Justgiving makes sure 25% in Gift Aid, plus a 3% supplement, are added to your donation.

So please sponsor me now or the hair won't get it!
