Story

Welcome to the Lost Penguins justgiving fundraising page.

This has to be the craziest thing we've ever embarked on; a 360 mile race accross the Arctic to the Magnetic North Pole, pulling sledges weighing almost twice as much as Potter, bribing polar bears for our lives and facing minus 70 degree temperatures.

The race takes place in April 2008 so we're spending the next year doing all manner of things to maximise our fundraising for WaterAid.  Check us out at the Lost Penguins website at www.lostpenguins.com where you'll be able to see all of the silly things we'e getting up to.

WaterAid helps some of the poorest communities in Africa and Asia set up and maintain water, sanitation and hygiene education projects.  These improve people's health and livelihoods, enabling communities to take their first steps out of poverty and gain a better quality of live.

Donating through this site is simple, fast and totally secure. It is also the most efficient way to sponsor me: WaterAid will receive your money faster and, if you are a UK taxpayer, an extra 28% in tax will be added to your gift at no cost to you.

Many thanks for your support.

Connie, Rich and Mike
