Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

Post Marathon update:  Many thanks to everyone who has sponsored and supported me all of the way! The day ended up being really enjoyable, although my legs are now suffering slightly! You'll be glad to know i managed to complete the course and impressed myself by managing to complete it in just over 4 hours-again many thanks to my rather loud and excitied supporters on the day!

All the money raised is going to be used for a fantastic cause helping those alot less fortunate than ourselves out in Zambia. Again many thanks to you all ,and if you would still like to sponsor me to further extend my fantastic total raised so far that would be fantastic!

Cheers,

Louise xxx

Pre-marathon: Okay so here I am taking on the challenge of running the first ever Brighton marathon (which is fast approaching); it also happens to be my first ever marathon and i'm seeking your support! To push me on with my training and get me through the day i've decided to attempt to raise funds for the Zambia Society Trust.  It's a charity that has a great focus around self help, long term  projects within Zambia, especially focussing around health care, disability and education. They also help to support some of the many orphans in Zambia.

As some of you may know i was born  and spent the first year of my life in Luanshya, Zambia, 28 years ago, so it has always had a special place in my heart and hence my affiliations with this charity! I know there are always alot of just giving requests going out around this time of year, but all sponsorship money is greatly appreciated- thanks guys!
