A few years ago I wrote a list of 30 things to do before I am 30 and at number 14 is ‘Climb Mt Kilimanjaro’. So, on the 9 of July, a group of friends including me are going to be scaling the famous mountain via the quickest, steepest route (not the one fatty Moyles and Chezza Cole did, this one is hard-core).
I predict there will be mornings when it will be bloomin’ hard to crawl out of my tent in the freezing cold, days when blisters will be crippling me and evenings when my sleeping mat just won’t be comfortable anymore however this is why I will push on...
... In a nutshell, Magic Bus is a wonderful organisation that works with children living in some of the saddest circumstances in the world. What the small charity does is give children the chance to be children, help them discover their true potential and encourage them to find purpose in life. So many young children have to work or bring up families far too early in their lives so this charity has set out to give these children a reason to smile again. I don’t have a target to reach so will be delighted with any kind offering you can spare.
Huge, huge thanks Loubie
