Raising money for LOROS, the Leicestershire and Rutland Hospice

LOROS provides specialised palliative care for terminally ill patients and their families along with a wide range of vital supporting services, free of charge. LOROS strives to improve quality of life by alleviating stress and pain and providing for the specific needs of the individual. Physical, emotional and spiritual support is given to patients and their families.

Loughborough Boat Club is participating in the Boston Rowing Marathon on September 18th to help raise funds for Loros, a local Hospice Charity to the Club.

Crew members will have to row a nonstop 50km (31 miles) to accomplish the Marathon taking in excess of 4 hours.

Please take the time to make a donation, no matter how large or small to help us accomplish our goal of raising well needed funds for the charity.
