My story
Thanks for visiting my page!
On 5th May 2012 I and seven of my friends are taking on Maggies Monster Bike and Hike. We will be Mountain biking the 31 miles from Fort William to Fort Augustus, and then hiking a further 8 miles along Loch Ness.
This will be no mean feat - bearing in mind that most of us had not ridden a bike for a couple of decades before we started our training! (and our idea of keep fit was the odd yoga class, or aerobics followed by a nice bottle of Sancerre and a three course meal!). As of Feb 2012 training is going well, shame we cant say the same for the healthy diet...one step at a time...
We are doing this to support Maggies Cancer Caring Centres, inspired by family and friends who have been affected by cancer. Find out more about Maggies on the right of this page.
My employer Deutsche Bank will be matching the first £1000 that I raise.
