Two lovely friends are no longer with us because of this dreadful disease and several of you have been touched personally by its effects. I have raised more than £2000 in the last five years for Cancer Research and a 1000 mile cycle ride seemed a good idea to raise more. So, for two weeks in September, I will average 60 miles a day from one end of the country to the other. This is a huge personal challenge for me and I need every bit of motivation I can get!
