Hooray!!  We did it!

2 hours 22 minutes 56 seconds!!

Thought I would never make it, but I did!  Thanks to the help of Aileen and Becky who spurred me on the whole way.

I am overwhelmed by the amount of money I have raised for this great charity, but please don't stop giving - if you would still like to make a donation then there is still time so please dig deep to reward me for the fact that I can't go up and down stairs today!!

Here's a bit about my charity:

I have chosen to run for GRACE as my Consultant Oncologist who helped me through my ovarian cancer and hysterectomy plays a big part in the pioneering research into gynaecological cancers.  Without him and the work that this charity does, I might not be running at all!

GRACE was established in 2005 by two leading surgeons and a Professor of Oncology to undertake research into the gynaecological cancers and their treatments.

Research into the causes, early diagnosis and treatment of these cancers is a seriously neglected area of medicine. The main gynaecological cancers are cancer of the ovary, uterus (endometrium), cervix, vulva and vagina.

The charity is keen to raise awareness of the symptoms of these cancers so patients seek help at an early stage. Cancer treatment is much more successful for early stage disease.

The charity also aims to provide much needed equipment to treat these cancers at hospitals throughout the Surrey, West Sussex and Hampshire Cancer Network.Thanks for visiting my fundraising page.
