Ben Nevis Charity Walk · 12 July 2019

The King’s Trust supports 11 to 30 year-olds who are unemployed or struggling at school to get their lives on track. Many of the young people we support are in or leaving care, have been in trouble with the law, or they are facing challenges such as homelessness or mental health issues.

Story

Myself and 80 colleagues from Moneysupermarket.com will be taking on the challenge of climbing Ben Nevis to raise money for our nominated charity of the year 'The Prince's Trust'.  I've never done anything like this before so wanted to not only challenge myself but help raise money for a good cause.

The Prince’s Trust believes every young person deserves the chance to succeed and it needs our help to do more. By working together, we will support hundreds more young people who are facing some of the greatest challenges to transform their lives and feel positive about their future.

Many young people today feel downbeat, excluded and marginalised. Political and economic changes, locally and globally, have left them feeling anxious and uncertain. More young people than ever are suffering from a lack of confidence, poor mental health or are burdened by a poverty of ambition.

Each year, The Prince’s Trust works with tens of thousands of young people to enable them to fulfil their potential, providing support to build their confidence, resilience, wellbeing and skills, helping them to increase their stake in society and the economy.
