Sarah Groves's life was tragically cut short when she was brutally murdered in Kashmir, India, on 6th April 2013. She was almost 25 years old.

I only met Sarah briefly but it was clear she was a glass half full type of girl.

I'm doing this ride because I want to help keep that positive attitude alive and support Sarah's passion for helping others.

The Sarah Groves Foundation is a Charity registered in Guernsey, which was set up to continue Sarah's legacy and provide opportunities to people from all different backgrounds, with emphasis on Sarah's passion for adventure, fitness, children and art. The Foundation will work closely with the Guernsey Community Foundation.

The challenge:

Focusing on the 'fitness' category - A team of 50 people from Guernsey and Jersey, will be cycling from St Malo to Paris and back again. The challenge will take place in May, over 6 days of back to back cycling, racking up a total of 600 miles!.... think we may have some sore bums!
