My story
LOUISE AND RACHEL WALK 800 KM (500 miles) ACROSS NORTHERN SPAIN TO RAISE MONEY FOR JUBILEE CAMPAIGN - protecting Children at Risk.

We want to raise money and awareness for this amazing charity, so that children at risk are given an opportunity to live a life free from cruelty and suffering. Jubilee Campaign works to stop killing street children, to end child prostitution, child sacrifice, and other problems throughout the world that damage, if not end, the lives of innocent children.
After reading about the horrific truths of child sex trafficking, slavery and prostitution we were inspired to do something that will make a statement, and raise funds for this worthwhile cause, so.....
We will be walking from the Pyrenees across northern Spain to Santiago de Compostel. It will take us about a month with no rest days! We will be walking from 20 to 35 kilometers per day through the Basque country, the "meseta", and the hills of Galicia. The route includes the major cities of Pamplona, Burgos and León, the large towns of Logroño in the Rioja, Astorga, and Ponferrada. It is going to be a real challenge, with lots of blisters, aching and exhaustion along the way, but we are very determined to complete the walk in 1 month so that the money we raise can help children at risk, and give them opportunities they would never have imagined possible. This charity and its work is so important to us, so please dig deep, and give whatever you can to help make a change!!
