2012 it was a shock to say the least id found a lump after losing weight doctor said it was tissue and it was tissue id like to say but she asked would i like a mamogram i said well if you think its tissue we wont she said its up to you i said ok to be on safe side lets do one then we can make sure , so i was referred and had my scan where the lump i found was tissue but they discovered another lump on my left side had i not had the scan it wouldnt of shown or be felt as it was not to the surface , soon as i was told i was like ok what do i need to do when do i do it i was booked in for a left mastectomy almost 2 weeks later i wanted it gone i wanted it out of my body! that was how i thought i must survive i had a 3 year old that needed his mummy and thats how it went my son was my focus i had 2 lots of chemo that stopped as i had a reaction to something and now on tamoxafen it comes with side effects like most things ,i had a seroma which was operated on last year and now lymphadema which is a build of fluid .losing my breast was a small price to pay to be here to see my son grow up , and without the support of my family and friends who have been great through all thats happened i dont know how id of managed it but you have to be positive and thats why im raising money so that more ppl can be saved and more research can be done one day we will win the fight against cancer every penny or pound you give will help no matter how big or small thank you . me and my best friend louise ( also same name ) with be doing this with me , she has been by my side through it all a truly great friend .
