Story

Hello and thank you for visiting my fundraising page.

As most of you know Barry and I will shortly be heading off round the world (don't get too jealous). During our trip we will be walking the Annapurna circuit in Nepal. The Annapurna Circuit is a 3 week, 203km walk round the Annapurna himalayan mountain range. Starting off through the paddy fields of  Besisahar at 500m, we will trek steadily up to the  snowy Thorung La (Thorung Pass) at 5416m before descending down along the Kali Gandaki Valley to the lakeside town of Pokhara.

So, to the reason for you being on this page!

Prior to heading off on my travels, I worked as a nurse on the children's ward at Kingston hospital where I saw first hand the amazing support and assistance  Momentum provided to children with cancer or other life threating conditions and their families.  For further information about Momentum and the projects they are fund raising for now, please visit
www.moment-um.org

Donating through this site is simple, fast and totally secure. It is also the most efficient way to sponsor me: Momentum will receive your money faster and, if you are a UK taxpayer, an extra 28% in tax will be added to your gift at no cost to you.

So please sponsor me now!

Many thanks for your support.
