Thanks for visiting my fundraising page.  I can't quite believe it but I am running in the London Marathon. this year.  It is something I have always wanted to do but never thought I would!  I am also raising money for the charity Refuge and this is a huge motivator when I have to run in the cold and dark evenings.

I am really excited about my training for the Marathon and at the same time raising money for Refuge.  There is a paragrpah below that gives some more information on this charity.  I often meet women at a homeless day centre who have had to leave abusive relationships and it is comforting to know that Refuge provides help and support to victims of domestic violence.
